Here is the great FIRST ISSUE (Volume 1, Number 1) of VIDEO MARKETPLACE magazine. This issue from OCTOBER 1987, which was published by WORLD PUBLISHING COMPANY, features a cover showing all the new releases that were coming to VHS in October 1987. The magazine is 84 pages in length and is NOT simply a catalog listing new releases on video. It includes stories about many of the releases and interviews with stars of many of those releases and more. Release stories include many films, documentaries, sports, animation and more. The magazine is in very good condition (our posted photos are the actual issue), with bumping to the cover edges and corners, a mailing label and a bend in the lower right corner. The pages are clean, with no tears or marks and the binding is still tight. A great item for the video fan and/or magazine collector!
