Trixie Belden Mysteries Lot of 16 (Complete Set of the Ugly Series)

Trixies run unofficially 1-39.  The "Uglies" were only printed for mysteries 1-16.  This is a complete set.

The uglies are notorious for broken, loose, cracked, and split bindings as well as visible and stretched hinges.  They are also well known for the well soiled/rub soiled back covers.  These books are a perfect example of these trends.  

These books are in acceptable to poor condition.  There may be previous owner names/writing on the inside..  There are notable signs of age or wear through cover/spine fading, soil/staining, cover damage, spine/cover edge/corner rub, corner push, spine upper/lower edge rub/push, page edge rub, page edge soil/age spotting/age staining, edge nicks/dents, and tanning/browning of pages.  Several books have sever binding/spine issue...one has a missing spine cover...four or five more have one edge completely split to the point where the spine cover could come off.  Most hinges are visible and stretched.  At least one book has loose page.   Several of these have spine roll.  Back covers have notable soil/rub soil.  Damage to several covers.  All outer corners are well rubbed and well pushed...most are rubbed enough to leave board visible.  

I wrap the books up well for safe shipping.  Care must be taken when removing packaging to avoid spine covers coming off.

Shipping:  Sometimes when an item is listed with “Free Shipping”, eBay shows the listing as “Fast ‘N Free” with “Free Delivery in 4 Days”.  Please understand that eBay puts those on the listing, but they have no control over how long the item takes to arrive…they are nowhere in the shipping process.   Most of my items are shipped by media mail.  Typically, I ship the same day when possible, but the next business day for sure.  Once it is in the postal system, I have no control over it either.  Media mail takes 2-9 days, but can take as long as 3 weeks.  I have never seen anything take 3 weeks yet, but it can happen.  Normally, it takes 6-8 days depending on destination.
