This Alex Book Art exclusive design celebrates Jacky Ickx, the undisputed King of Le Mans and one of the greatest endurance racers in history. Known for his intelligence, strategic brilliance, and legendary performances at Le Mans 24 Hours, Ickx cemented his place in motorsport history with six victories at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Born in 1945 in Belgium, Jacky Ickx started his racing career in Formula 1 but became a legend in sports car endurance racing. His ability to conserve the car, adapt to changing conditions, and push at the right moment made him the ultimate Le Mans master.

Le Mans 24 Hours Victories:

✔ 1969 – Ford GT40 – The closest Le Mans finish ever, won by just a few seconds after a dramatic last-lap battle.

✔ 1975 – Gulf Mirage GR8 – A dominant performance securing his second win.

✔ 1976, 1977 – Porsche 936 – Back-to-back victories, showcasing his endurance racing dominance.

✔ 1981 – Porsche 936 – A masterclass in strategy and precision driving.

✔ 1982 – Porsche 956 – His final Le Mans victory, solidifying his legacy as the King of Le Mans.
