The Ural-375D was a general purpose 4.5ton off road 6x6 truck, produced at the Ural Automotive Plant in Russia since 1961. The Ural-375D replaced the earlier Zil-157 and became the standard Soviet truck in 1979.

The Ural-375D was also used as a mount for the BM-21 "Grad" Rocket Launcher which was developed in the early 1960s. This mounted 40 launch tubes on the truck each armed with a 122mm rocket. The BM-21 replaced the earlier BM-14 140mm system. The launcher tubes are arranged in a rectangle and can be turned away from the cab which is unprotected.

It was subsequently replaced in 1979 by the Ural-4320 which also serves as a launching platform for the BM-21 "Grad" rocket launcher.

Whether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.
