This rare and beautifully crafted antique brass disk is an exceptional example of Arabic .talismanic and astrological art, likely originating from Ottoman in the 19th century.

The front side features five Celestial Globes surrounded by intricate Arabic inscriptions and elaborate floral and geometric engravings, characteristic of spiritual iconography. These bosses may represent celestial bodies in classical cosmology.

The reverse is engraved with an extraordinary grid of magical letters, symbols, and intersecting lines, suggesting use in occult practices such as ilm al-huruf (the science of letters), astrology, or protective talismanic magic.
