Current vehicles usually have a pulsed reversing signal at the reversing light due to the CAN bus.

If the power supply for a reversing camera were to be tapped there, it would only flicker.

The reversing camera CAN-BUS adapter from enables direct connection of the reversing system to the reversing light for power supply, even in modern vehicles with CAN bus, thus saving additional wiring.

Connect the positive poles to the positive ones and the negative poles to the negative ones:

Red - 12V input (reversing light current)

Black - earth

Red - 12V output (power to reversing camera)

The cables are labeled according to the connections.
