ASRAAM: Advanced Short Range Air to Air Missile.

The RAAF F/A-18 Hornet was originally armed with AIM-9M Sidewinder missiles on the wingtip weapon stations. The Matra-BAe AIM-132 was selected during the late 1990s as the RAAF's new Within Visual Range (WVR) AAM for use on the F/A-18A+, and possibly other RAAF types.

Comprises:

* Two ASRAAM wing-tip missiles.

For use with any Hornet kit.

ASRAAM is also used by RAF Tornado GR4 and Typhoon fighters. It was used by the Harrier GR7 until its retirement.

Recommended for Modellers, Ages: 12+
