For your consideration, I have a Vintage Accordion Sewing Box Upholstered Lid with 3-Tier Fold Out Compartments.  This is in nice condition and in good working condition.  When folded, it is 8-1/4" x 17" x 5-1/2" tall.  It is sturdy.  This comes from a smoke free home.  I will be listing several vintage items so check out my other listings as I will combine shipping on multiple sales.
