What is Nurofen Plus used for?
Nurofen Plus is used for the short-term relief of moderate pain (such as headaches, migraines, toothache, period pain, muscular pain, and backache) when other painkillers like ibuprofen or paracetamol alone are not effective.
Active Ingredients:
Ibuprofen 200mg: a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)
Co phosphate 12.8mg: an painkiller
Dosage (Adults over 18):
1/2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed
Maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours
Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice
Do NOT take if you:
Are under 18
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have asthma, stomach ulcers, or severe kidney/liver/heart problems
Are taking other ibuprofen, or opioid medications
Have a history of drug or alcohol misuse
Possible Side Effects:
Nausea, constipation, dizziness
Drowsiness
Allergic reactions (rare)
Risk of addiction with prolonged use
Important:
For short-term use only
Risk of dependence and withdrawal symptoms with long-term use
