- An infrared receiver is on the TRex's underbelly and 1 on its back.
- Remote control will need to be facing at least one of these for it to operate.
- On/off button is on underbelly too.
- Controller needs to be opened, infrared light must be on, along with turning the TRex on for it to work.
- Video shared here shows each of the buttons in order from left to right and what they do.
- Outside of the tail, which is more solid, most of the TRex has moveable skin over the hardware for movement.
- There's a clicking sound periodically due to the eyes blinking in some movements
- The TRex will slow down in its operations when the batteries start wearing out.
- This takes 6 AA batteries total (not included).
- -- 4 go to the TRex on the underside of the tail.
- -- The remote takes 2
- Box says rechargeable batteries are NOT recommended.
- Originally, there was a hard plastic "window" on the inside of the box but, its no longer there
- The box is a bit beat up.
- There may be an odor due to age, use, and storage.
