Drop Dead Gorgeous Pier Studio Art Glass Large Bowl by Mary Ellen Buxton and Kevin Kutch of Brooklyn, New York. 

This large Spot Bowl measures 10" in diameter by 4 1/2" in height. Lime Green on the top and then clear crystal and tapers to a ruby red encased base measuring 2 7/8"  The colors are electric and breathtaking. 

The bowl is signed and numbered on the base as pictured # 050311

This phenomenal bowl weighs over 6 pounds before packing. 

About the artisans:

They have worked together for over 25 years. In 1994 Mary Ellent and Kevin opened their studio in Brooklyn, New York, where they have collaboratively  created functional glass sculptures. They keep their designs clean and deceptively simple which allows them to explore their fascination with the ability of the glass to reflect, refract and magnify light. Their work is included in national galleries, exhibitions and private and public collections.
