A very appealing Mid Century serigraph print, titled lower left margin "deep light", bearing "E-28" at lower center margin and signed in pencil and dated 53 lower right margin and again in the image field, by noted Canadian-American painter, printmaker and ceramicist Miriam Haworth (1922-2016).  The print measures 12 1/2" by 16 1/2" inside the mat opening and the piece as tastefully framed in blond wood is 19" by 23 1/4".  Haworth was widely exhibited in her lifetime, with examples of her work in major museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, Victoria & Albert Museum, Smithsonian, New York Public Library, and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  She taught screen printing at the Central School of Art.  For a time she was married to award-winning Hollywood art director Ted Haworth (1917-1993) and lived for some period in the Los Angeles area; her daughter Jann Haworth (b.1942) is a well-known British pop artist known as a co-creator of the Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Band album cover.  The print is in superb fresh condition and will grace any smart contemporary Mid Century interior.  The artist's work is underpriced in the marketplace.
