This striking Sargadelos porcelain figurine features the Apostle Santiago (St. James), designed in bold and vivid glazes typical of the Sargadelos studio in Galicia, Spain. Titled Santiago Matarratas (St. James the Rat Slayer), the piece combines traditional iconography with a modernist sculptural form. A whimsical horse, decorative base, and powerful details reflect the artisan history and folkloric storytelling of the region.

This decorative piece has been painted by hand on glazed porcelain with an intense red colour, cooking in this stage at 800 º C (for third time). For this reason the production process is more laborious.
