Today for your consideration is this quite rare, Joseph Medicine Craw, a prominent Craw Nation War Chief and historian original antique CDV ( Carte De Visite). Born 1913. First person from his tribe to attend and graduate college. Distribiuted in early 1900's by Evans Studio, 48 & 50 Court St., Binghamton, New York. This CDV was mounted on studio cardboard and then glued to another cardboard (included). Unframed. CDV size is 6 7/16" x 4 3/16". As found condition. Additional Indian Chiefs CDV's will be listed shortly. 

I just received this message from friendly eBay member: 

"Correction: the foto is of Chief Medicine Crow himself from the Crow delegation to Washington of 1880. Joe Medicine Crow was his grandson. Also, Joe was the first man of his tribe to get a master's degree. There was a Crow woman who got a bachelor's degree before he got his."
