This pickup comes from a massive touring road case used by Frank Zappa that contains a huge collection of Frank Zappa’s guitar parts from many of his iconic guitars. It’s a literal treasure trove of piece of Frank’s guitars that he used, swapped out, and kept around to use again.

This listing is a for a vintage black T-Top Gibson Humbucker Pickup that was likely used on Frank’s Roxy & Elsewhere Gibson SG Guitar.

Very Good condition. Pickup remains in the exact condition Frank kept it in.

Pickup is heavily waxed.

Top Patent sticker pickup, black, 2 strand braid wire.

Ls on legs.

Resistance: 7.82k

Comes with proof of authenticity including all paperwork from original sale and copy of certificate of authenticity.

Frank made many modifications to achieve his unique tone and sound, this is a piece of Zappa history. This is a major component of where he got that sound.
