1971-1974 Norton Commando 150 mile per hour speedometer and 9000 RPM tachometer. These Smiths gauges are ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS!!! Bottom face of these Smith's gauges are CORRECTLY marked as an SSM 3001/09 on the face of the speedometer and RSM 3003/15 on the tachometer. This gauge fits the Norton 750 / 850 models listed for these years. This speedometer only has .5 tenths of a single mile on it, which was 'run in' distance only when it was on a calibration stand. The internal parts of these gauges have been removed, completely renovated and calibrated to meet the specifications of newly remanufactured gauges.

The rebuild of these Smiths gauges included the following: The cans (outer cases) have been professionally powdercoated to a Concours quality standard. The cans do not have a single ding, dent or damage. Then the inside of the can was painted with white epoxy paint (the only paint that will not peel, turn to dust) for many, many years. Then the blue, light enhancing, paint was sprayed on the one section of the inside the EXACT same way and in exactly the same shade as Smiths did it when this gauge was built. We are the ONLY Smiths gauge rebuilder in the country that takes this extra step. There is a reason Smiths added this, so we do too. The blue paint gives a softer shine to the light rather than just harsh white light. The center aluminum needle buttons were finished in the right textured black and the correct shade of white was added to the needle arms themselvess. Then NEW bezels, glass, upper and lower rubber glass sealing seals were installed along with the new stainless steel chassis screws being installed at the back of each gauge (will never rust or tarnish) and those chassis screws were attached with their respective internal and external shock absorbing rubber biscuit mounts as well as the stainless steel nuts and washers (for the mounting of these gauges to the stock gauge brackets) were added. These gauges are ready to JUST BOLT ON AND GO!!!!.
