The product for sale is a 2013-14 SP Authentic Canvas Collection trading card featuring the Hall of Fame center Alonzo Mourning during his collegiate time with the Georgetown Hoyas. This card is part of the Canvas Collection themed set and has a card number of CC-30.
Alonzo Mourning, called "Zo" for short by many fans, was selected with the second overall pick in the 1992 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets. Shaquille O' Neal was the first overall selection in that draft, but Mourning also came in very highly regarded. Mourning went on to play for 15 seasons with 3 teams and had several impressive accomplishments: seven-time All-Star, All-NBA First Team in 1999, All-NBA Second Team in 2000, 2-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, 2-time All-Defensive First Team, 2-time NBA Blocks leader, and an NBA Champion in 2006 with the Miami Heat.
Mourning was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014 and into the FIBA Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019.
He currently is a high-level executive with the Miami Heat organization.
