Lt. Colonel Charles (Chuck) A Older signed Gathering of Eagles cut.


The product is a signed GOE (G) cut featuring Charles A. Older.  Leaving the USMC Reserve in July 1942, Older joined the American Volunteer Group (AVG) or the Flying Tigers under the command of General Claire Chennault.  This group flying the P-40 Warhawk would bring the fight to the Japanese before the US's entry into WWII.  Older would have 10 air to air combat victories with the AVG.  Once it was disbanded he would rejoin the USAAF and gain another 8 victories, making him a triple Ace during WWII.  Chuck would later going on to fly the Martin B-26 during the Korean War and would eventually pass the California bar exam to practice law in Californina.  Appointed as a Los Angeles Superior Court judge in 1968, who would eventually preside over The People vs. Charles Manson case.  The autograph has been authenticated and slabbed PSA and has been certified as authentic.  The item is an original piece of United States history, making it a valuable collectible for military enthusiasts and history buffs interested in the era of World War II.
