Hell and welcome to another of my listings. Today for your consideration is this lot of two etchings by famous French artist Jacques Villon.
Two drypoint and etching in black on laid paper, 1932, both signed in pencil, one numbered 7/50, one inscribed 'ep d'artiste (etat)' (both from the final state).
Both 6 3/8 x 4 1/4 in. (plate), 7 5/8 x 13 3/8 in. (sheet), unframed.
Literature: Ginestet and Pouillon E 365.
Both with full margins, pale staining, some scattered foxing, surface soiling and unobtrusive creasing along the sheet edges. 7/50 with a small loss at the upper left sheet corner and a small tear at the lower left sheet edge. Otherwise both in good condition.
