This vintage Profils Du Monde Beverly Hills Indian purple silk sari silver lame evening coat dates from the 1960s. It is made of an iridescent purple color and silver lame handloom silk cloth fabric with a woven decorative floral, leaf, boteh paisley pattern design. This elegant ethnic evening coat was created from an Indian sari saree drape cloth fabric, it has a loose fitting long knee length caftan boho style with a high band neck collar, 3/4/ length full sleeves, side slit pockets, sari fabric covered buttons down the front for closure, is fully lined in a gold silk fabric and has a "Profils Du Monde Beverly Hills, California" designer label sewn inside. The coat measures 34 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 40 inch waist, 40 inch hips, a 19 inch long sleeves, 15 inch back and a 16 inch neck. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of Indian boho style wearable art!
