Antique black slate/marble mantel clock in an elegant temple style with domed finial, fluted columns, and classical detailing. Features a working brass mechanical movement with timekeeping and musical chime functions, operated via the included key and pendulum.
This clock has been examined and confirmed to be fully operational by a professional mechanical clock technician, who also estimated its manufacture to the 1920s era. The movement is marked with serial numbers but no maker's name; stylistically similar to Waterbury and French clocks of the period.
