Vintage Art Deco Blue Silk Silver Metallic Lame Button Strap Mary Jane Shoes

This pair of vintage Art Deco blue silk silver metallic lame button strap Mary Jane shoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a light blue silk lame fabric with a woven silver metallic striped design. These beautiful blue lame evening flapper dance shoes have a Mary Jane style with a mother of pearl button closure strap across the instep, pointed toes and blue lame covered French Louis XV spool heels. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 2 inch high heel and are approximately a size 6 or 7 narrow width. They are in good condition with only some minor wear inked writing on the bottom leather soles and a slight small fray on one shoe side trim edging, button hole (see close-ups). These are truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco shoe art!
