This
is a lovely antique darning or mending sampler, showing various
darning techniques stitched with red and blue thread on off white
cloth.
The sampler is Dutch and dates from circa 1900. It is signed 'C V'.
It measures approximately 8 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches or 21 x 21.5 cm.
The sampler is in good condition, considering its age. The cloth has a few tiny spots on it.If you have any questions or would like more or larger pictures, please don't hesitate to contact me.
