This product is a hybrid type preamplifier that combines a vacuum tube and an op-amp. The op-amp placed in the front stage adjusts the volume and sound quality and the vacuum tube in the rear stage adds harmonic components. By taking advantage of the advantages of both the vacuum tube and the op-amp you can enjoy the unique sound of the vacuum tube without unpleasant distortion even at maximum volume. In addition while incorporating well-established audio-specific parts throughout it is affordable so that it can be used for serious audio purposes. [How to use] Please use this product between the output of the sound source playback device such as a CD player DAC or silicon player and the power amplifier. INPUT: Connect to the analog output terminal of a CD player or DAC. OUTPUT: Connect to the analog input terminal of a power amplifier or main amplifier. [Product Features] ■6K4 is used as the standard vacuum tube The TUBE-03J used the 6J1 military tube as the vacuum tube but since 6J1 is already difficult to obtain the TUBE-03J+ uses the 6K4 as standard. The design itself is based on the 6J1 and has been adjusted to work with the 6K4 but we recommend the 6J1 (sold separately) to experience its true potential. It's not that the 6K4 is bad but rather that it has a different flavor so one of the joys of the TUBE-03J+ is trying out your favorite vacuum tube. ■Hybrid preamplifier with vacuum tube and op-amp The pre-buffer and tone control sections use the Texas Instruments audio op-amp "NE5532" (DIP socket type) which is well-known for its sound quality!
