Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts of the United States of America on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia. The organization started with 18 girls and has grown to approximately 2.5 million adult and girl members worldwide.

The reverse (tail) design depicts a likeness of Juliette Gordon Low next to the original Girl Scout trefoil, which she designed and patented. The inscriptions are “JULIETTE GORDON LOW” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” with “QUARTER DOLLAR” and “FOUNDER of GIRL SCOUTS of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA” inscribed around the coin’s border.

These coins are taken directly from mint rolls/bags. Because they are Business Strike, and were made for circulation they may, and probably will have some minor scratches, nicks, watermarks, and some discoloration.
