Magnificent Chinese Superwash high quality handmade circular rug which I purchased from Harrods in 1981 (receipt photo's included). 

Lovely deep pile with hand knotted fringes, the rug measures 70 inches/177cms from fringe to fringe. 

The rug is in excellent condition however there are some slight marks close to the centre which are hardly noticeable when the rug is on the floor.

A Google search to calculate what I paid for this high quality rug 45 years ago equates to £2,200 !!
