Vintage Marathon Gallet GG-W-113 H3 case 347 6645-00-066-4279 steel issued in first year 1984 US military for sale.

The watch is so Special. When I research about the GG-W-113 US military the GG-W-113 is made by many brand under contract of goverment and the Rarest is made by Marathon Gallet.
The watch have style like CWC G10 issued for RAF. It is really cool and rare with US military issued.
Almost Marathon Gallet is made by Plastic.
Some version is made by Steel but it is Quartz for pilot.
So the Marathon Gallet GG-W-113 I think it can be coolest and mechanical watch made by Marathon with Gallet Supply.
And today only Marathon made (not Gallet).
The interesting is dial. Almost GG-W-113 is made by Sterile dial. But this Marathon Gallet GG-W-113 have dial sign full line "MARATHON US GOVERMENT". It is interesting and rare with GG-W-113 watch.
The version is one of the first year made in 1984. So it can be collectable with collector.
The watch have story. After mission the watch have old crown. The owner ask to replace by original part of military but they don"t have instock of part/crown military that time because the watch is issued in short time. The supply military only can replaced by Original Hamilton GG-W-113 in 1987 to him. Because that time Hamilton handle the last contract with GG-W-113.
I found another version in the internet have the same crown like this. So probly the history about the supply original part can be happen.
The crystal have some scratch (like exactly picture). Can be see in some view.
The watch movement is ETA Cal. 2801-2 handwinding with hacking function.
I ask watch maker serviced clean oil movenent. So now the watch is running good.
As the last picture of the watch is test by watch maker near machine test.
The watch is original condition look like it was born after many years of using like tool watch military.
The case and crystal have many scratch of using like tool watches military but I do not polish or clean to keep the vintage color of this watch and keep the history.
The crown is NOT Screw Down crown.
