RARE Cheers TV Show Wrestler Image Screen Used Prop From Bar Wall Final Scene
This is a rare prop from the bar in the TV show Cheers (Paramount 1982-1993).
This screen used prop hung on the back wall of Cheers and was featured in numerous episodes throughout the series.
It was prominently featured in some of the most iconic scenes of the show, including in the Series Finale and the iconic finale scenes of the show.
A truly rare and iconic piece from one of the most legendary sitcoms ever on television.
This is a piece of television history.
I mean, how many people actually own an actual part of Cheers? How cool is this?
The piece features a black and white image of a Wrestler.
Piece is signed “To ALL, Al Alexander”.
It is framed in a black frame.
Stamped with the Cheers logo on the back of the piece.
Measures approximately 20” x 16”.
Very good production used condition. Some light signs of wear from age and use in the production. Some studio distressing to give the frame and image a more aged look. (See pics)
This piece was also featured at the Hollywood Entertainment Museum in Hollywood, California.
The best part about a prop from Cheers is that it’s an actual piece of Cheers, it’s literally a very part of the bar we all watched on tv for so many years.
Very few props from the set of Cheers still exist because most of them were destroyed while in storage years ago. This is a true rarity and very unique piece.
Comes with proof of authenticity including paperwork from original sale and certificate of authenticity.
A truly remarkable piece from an iconic show. Very few pieces from Cheers ever come up for sale, especially items that were actually part of the bar.
Just imagine all the scenes that played out with Sammy, Rebecca, Norm, Cliff, Frasier, Woody, and even Diane with this image hung up on the wall behind them in the bar.
