You are looking at a super Lionel Classics release from way back in 1990--that's right, 35 years ago! Before there was Tinplate Traditions or Lionel Corporation Tinplate...there was LIONEL CLASSICS.

This one is the best of both worlds--the exact look of the classic Lionel prewar series O gauge with the brand new parts and shine of a new item.
 


It is a remake of the old classic Lionel O Gauge Fireball Express Steam Passenger set. It is a stunning passenger set featuring
 

  • 390E Steam locomotive 2-4-2 bright red with maroon roof and matching tender
    • E-Unit
    • Build-A-Loco Motor
    • Whistle in tender
  • 13416 New Jersey 326 baggage car
  • 13417 Connecticut 327 parlor car
  • 13418 New York 328 observation car

CONDITION: C-8. Tested and works. Tender whistle works. Appears to be like new to new in manufacturer packaging. Everything looks great. There is some hard to see light texturing in the paint in a spot by the nameplate on one tender side, pictured. We had to angle it under a lamp to see. This is common for the 1990s era paint on the tinplate. Box is P-6 with some rubs, creasing and some liquid or water stains on the back. With original outer shipper carton as well!

Texas residents pay 8.25% sales tax. We appreciate payment within three days of auction's close. If you are bidding on other items, or would like to to shop our Ebay store, please feel free. We accept Paypal. We also accept credit cards. 

Shipping

We are happy to combine shipping when possible. Some items cannot be combined due to size or weight. We will let you know if this is the case after your request.
To request combined shipping: 1) Add each of your items using Ebay's blue "Add to Cart" button; 2) Click on the shipping cart icon at the top right corner of the ebay screen; 3) Click REQUEST TOTAL FROM SELLER. This should be above the price column of the first listing in your cart. 4) WAIT TO PAY until we send you a revised invoice to pay. Please do not pay until you receive a revised invoice. 
We are also happy to ship internationally.
At our discretion, we may add, at our expense, signature confirmation and/or insurance to more expensive orders. NOTE: These features require someone be present at time of delivery, so if you do not want this feature and accept responsibility for the shipment, please let us know ahead of time via Ebay messages. Terms of Sale

We appreciate every single sale and every single customer. Our goal is to have happy train folks worldwide.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
