Changing Tips

be sure the tips is cooled before removal, the catalyst see through the exhaust ports of the soldering tip is very delicate and will not sustain mechanical abuse without serious damage. the soldering tip is easily removable allowing the installation of other style tips or the replacement of a worm tip, after the soldering tip is cool, simply unscrew it with a counterclockwise motion. pliers may be required to lightly grasp the tip in order to loosen it
