DescriptionThis exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell-shaped form onto a waisted stem and circular spreading foot.
The body of this silver goblet is embellished with an impressive flat engraved scene of a male figure ploughing a field with two horses.
The opposing side of the body is embellished with an impressive flat engraved scrolling banner bearing the contemporary inscription 'Carmarthenshire Agricultural Society', all above the presentation date '1855'.
The plain spreading pedestal foot is encompassed with an embossed bead decorated border to the rim.
