Full leather binding, gilt titles to a black label, worn and rubbed, structurally sound, speckled blue page edges. Pages 135, 151, 263, 293, 295, 341, 343 closely cropped to the outer edge with some loss of letters. Ink underlining to page 273. A smudge with loss of text to the bottom of page 95, The final index page with a closed tear and no loss of text.

Pagination: [viii], 589, [3]pp.

Provenance: no bookplates, ink inscription to the title page ‘Pegg’.

Approximately 4 ¾ inches (12cm) tall.
