The one page ( 17.50 cm x  24.50 cm .) document is signed and dated 3rd February 1840

 

Like most people, I am not well versed in the 19th Century French language ,so I cannot inform you what the document  is about or what it  actually represents. 

It  looks like some sort of official record.

An official duty stamp is present.

The item is in a good presentable condition ,especially  for its age.

It is a little age worn with fold marks

However, all the handwritten text is legible and overall it is in an exceptional condition for its near two hundred years existence.

A good item that may  or may not be of some importance.

Some one willing to research it properly may be deservedly rewarded.
