Make sure the wall is clean by wiping it down with a slightly damp lint free cloth. Any dirt, dust, or grease will make it harder for the adhesive to stick. Avoid using any harsh solvent cleaners such as Windex® or chemicals when cleaning the surface as any residue can negatively affect the adhesive.

In order to get the best results, we recommend installing on a semi-gloss latex-based paint. Walls that are painted with a matte, flat or eggshell finish can possibly make it more difficult for the vinyl to stick and can cause failure.  Freshly painted walls should be cured for at least 30 days before installing vinyl wall graphics.
