c. 1895, Rand McNally & Co., 11 x 14 Map, Original

This is a Rand McNally & Co. New 11 x 14 map, copyright 1895.  It measures 16 1/8" x 11 11/16" when unfolded. This two-page map was joined together with glue and woven tape that was applied near the fold crease on the back.

Because the map has been kept folded with a collection of other maps from the same series, the colors are still very bright.  It's in very nice condition with some overall discoloration from age.  Slight crease to a couple corners. Please see the front and back images, as they're part of the description.

The one or two green discs you see in the photos are magnets I used to hold the map to a metal door to take photos.  I covered the magnets with green tape to prevent them from leaving marks on the paper.  I didn't flatten the center fold for the photos.
