Standard note: I am not a professional grader and everyone has different definitions. Below is how I interpret the eBay "grading" guidelines. I do my best to see surface issues, but if they are not clearly obvious (as per the definition of "excellent"), then it's possible I can miss those. I do not and will not use a microscope or spend more than 60-90 seconds "grading". Even PSA makes mistakes and is inconsistent, if they can, don't expect perfection from a novice. I am not in this to scam anyone, but you and I may disagree on "minor" vs. "moderate" vs. "major", etc. I am also colorblind, so surface issues can be hard for me to see--same with discoloration. If you want a PSA 10, buy a card already graded or submit your own for grading. If there are significant issues with the card when you receive it, it's likely due to damage from shipping. That is a different story, and I can offer refunds / returns and file the insurance claim. No problems there. If you want a full view of the card, request a video or additional pics from me and I would be happy to share. My "grading" standards are below. Please read before purchasing. Thank you.
NM-M+: "comparable to a fresh pack". "Flaws may include minor corner and edge wear". I also will include otherwise sharp cards with print lines (or other surface issues I believe were on the card when it was opened from the pack), as these would exist when opening the pack and are a manufacturing defect--not the result of wear. If there isn't a super obvious surface issue, and the corners and edges are clean, I will classify at NMM+. Surface issues are often undetectable without light at a specific angle and I am not spending 10 minutes getting every possible angle. If I see a print line or other manufacturing defect, I will note it but still classify as NMM+.
Excellent: "clearly visible signs of wear". "Edge chipping, surface scuffing (from wear) or fuzzy corners". Anything that was close to a NMM+ but fell just short will likely be in this group.
Very Good: "moderate to heavy damage all over". "Creasing, discoloration, edge chipping, rounded corners." This one seems fairly straightforward.
Poor: "extremely worn...flaws all over". I most likely won't be posting any of these to sell outside of a moldy vintage card.
