Rare, vintage collectible piece of U.S. fishery history.  Includes a vignette of two fishing vessels offshore from a processing plant.

This certificate is in excellent condition - and was printed by the Schwabacher-Frey Company, San Francisco.  This is absolutely authentic, NOT a reproduction.  As many of you already know, paper stock and bond certificates have for the most part gone away in favor of electronic 'book-entry' share ownership.  Physical certificates have become very collectible, and an important part of Wall Street history.  Unlike collectibles such as sports cards, stamps, coins, etc. where 100s of millions are still being produced each year, the available supply of stock certificates is now nearly fixed.

History:  Pacific American Fisheries, Inc., one of the world's major salmon canning operations, operated on Puget Sound and in Alaska between 1899 and 1965, with headquarters in Bellingham, Washington.
