Early Gorham Solid Coin Silver Mug Cup marked Style #33 Dated 1872 with hand Chased Mountainous country side featuring a large long building and A tunnel.

Presented is a fantastic antique Gorham coin silver or cup Coin silver with a style or product or style number of 3 and a date marked for Gorham silver made in 1872. I have placed a picture of my research on these marks in the photos above. This great cup has a detailed design of a mountain background leading to a stone tunnel with a light engraved dedication of E.H to RJ Ellis. It is in beautiful condition with only a few minor dents and dings and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. This is a fantastic opportunity for the collector of silver.

Measure: 4 7/8” inches tall to top of handle, 3 ¼” high to rim, 2 7/8” inches wide across top, 4 3/8” inches wide from handle to opposite side

Weight: 5.3 ounces or 150 grams on my postal scale for both

Marks: Gorham Coin silver with a date mark of E for silver made in 1872 with a style or product number of 3

Condition: some dents and dings, a period engraved dedication of E.H to RJ Ellis, some fine scratches from gentle use and care including a scratched identity mark on the bottom next to marks.
