This Alex Book Art T-shirt pays homage to one of the greatest road races in motorsport history – the Targa Florio – and the unforgettable 1971 edition, where Sicilian hero Nino Vaccarella claimed a legendary victory in the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3.

Held in Sicily near Palermo, the Targa Florio was organized by the Automobile Club of Palermo and contested on the treacherous Circuito delle Madonie. The 72 km circuit featured: countless hairpin turns through mountainous terrain, narrow village streets, demanding absolute precision, and extreme endurance, testing both driver and machine.

The 1971 edition remains one of the most legendary in Targa Florio’s history.
