Henkal Loktite 638 High Strength Retaining Compound – 50ml

Henkal Loktite 638 is a premium high-strength retaining compound designed for permanently bonding cylindrical metal assemblies. Engineered for heavy-duty industrial and automotive applications, it provides outstanding shear strength while filling gaps up to 0.25 mm (0.010"), making it ideal for worn or loose-fitting parts.

Its anaerobic formula cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces, creating a durable bond that resists vibration, shock, corrosion, oils, chemicals, and elevated temperatures. Loctite 638 is suitable for active and passive metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, and plated components.

Perfect for retaining bearings, bushings, sleeves, gears, pulleys, hubs, rotors, and other cylindrical assemblies where maximum holding power is required.
