Description

 

Exhaust filter function: prevent rapid consumption of pump oil, clean exhaust without smoke, and protect the environment;

 

Replacement cycle: One year, or according to the maximum exhaust pressure (normal 1.2 bar, if it exceeds 1.4 bar, the exhaust filter element needs to be replaced);

 

Consequences of lack of maintenance: clogged exhaust filter, direct exhaust through bypass valve, exhaust smoke, high fuel consumption; Excessive pressure inside the pump causes oil leakage from the shaft seal and accelerates hardware wear and tear due to high pump load; At 1.5 bar, the exhaust filter bypass valve will open.

Precautions for use

 

Inspection during vacuum pump operation: Use the pressure gauge of the vacuum pump oil mist separator to check for blockage. When the pressure gauge reading is in the red area, it indicates that the oil mist separator is blocked and must be replaced. If there is no pressure gauge for the oil mist separator, the resistance of the oil mist separator is determined by the change in the current of the driving motor. If the current consumed by the driving motor or the flow rate of the vacuum pump decreases, it indicates that the oil mist separator is blocked and must be replaced.

 

If the pressure indicated on the pressure gauge of the vacuum pump oil mist separator is lower than usual, or if the current consumed by the drive motor is lower than usual, the reason is that one of the oil mist separators is damaged and needs to be replaced. If the discharged gas contains oil, the reason is that the oil mist separator is blocked or damaged, and the vacuum pump oil mist separator cannot be completely cleaned. The blocked oil mist separator must be replaced.

 

 

Before replacing the vacuum pump oil mist separator, please turn off the vacuum pump and cut off the power to ensure that the vacuum pump is pressurized. Open the exhaust port cover from the oil tank, use a special wrench to remove the exhaust filter, and install the new oil mist separator with a sealing ring at the correct position inside the oil tank.
