The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City is one of the most iconic tracks in Formula 1. Opened in 1962, it was named in honor of Pedro and Ricardo Rodríguez, two Mexican racing brothers who tragically lost their lives in motorsport. Over the years, it has seen legendary races, unforgettable rivalries, and moments that shaped F1 history.
From its high-altitude location to its fast straights and tight technical corners, the Mexican GP circuit has tested the best drivers in the world. The famous Peraltada corner – a banked, high-speed curve – became legendary for its difficulty, creating some of the most thrilling moments in Formula 1 history.

1964 – Surtees’ Championship Decider: John Surtees became F1’s first (and only) motorcycle & car champion, clinching the title in Mexico.
