How to use
As a standard, the cradle comes with a spring that can also be used for the twin baby hammock.
The spring can be used from the baby weighs 3-12 kg
Spring+ for the cradle and twin baby hammock can be purchased separately and used for children weighing between 12-20 kg.
As the cradle has a longer lying surface than the baby hammock, the cradle can in theory be used until the child is 2.5 years old.
Maintenance
The cradle is delivered pre-washed so you do not have to do so. The removable frame in stainless steel can easily be wiped down with a damp rag. To wash the cover you need to remove the straps from the frame and remove the baseboard and the mattress. Wash the cover at 40 degrees in the washing machine.
The cover may shrink slightly during washing. Therefore, make sure to stretch the cover back to its original shape while it is wet to eliminate any wrinkles. Avoid any chemical cleaning. Do not use bleach. Only dry on a rack and not in the tumbler dryer. Straps with anchoring straps and the stainless steel ring need to be cleaned by hand as the metal parts cannot handle a wash in the machine.
We recommend that you only wash the cover of your mattress, not the mattress itself.The cradle is not suitable for babies and children that can sit, kneel or pull themselves up.
3 EASY STEPS TO GET STARTED
1. Installation:
Ensure you set-up the cradle securely and safely in accordance with the user manual.
2. Environment:
Prepare a calm and quiet area of your home for the cradle to be used in – this will help deliver a great sleeping environment. Try placing a familiar item such as a muslin cloth or stuffed toy in the cradle for a few days before you introduce it to your baby. This familiar smell will help baby adapt to their new sleeping surrounds.
3. Start slow:
Rocking should be introduced gently and slowly manually . You can gradually increase the tempo and duration of rocking as your baby gets used to it. You’ll soon learn what works for you
Every baby is different, and some may take longer than others to adapt to the cradle. Be patient, observe their cues, and make adjustments accordingly.
