This is several vintage original Life magazines from volume 41 Nov and Dec 1956, bound together in a hard cover book.  It was used in a public library.  The pages are brittle and  discolored because of it's age.  The pages are in the same condition of most original Life magazines from the 1950's.  The book is very heavy, boxed up for shipping it is 12 pounds.  This book features Life Magazine's famous larger then life  art and photographs.  In fact it is not uncommon for people to frame Life's car and beer ads.  Since most were painted by hand originally.  These issues are full of ads.
