Remove your floor boards and bolts -- choose your spacers thickness and install with longer bolts in kit -- and if you only choose 1" ,then rather than have additional bolts you get 1/2" round spacers to use on the end of your new bolt so you can use the longer screws supplied.--And in the future if you desire you can remove the round spacers and add the provided 1/2" matched spacers on top of the 1" you installed earlier to move out the floorboards 1 1/2 "
