The Melbourne performance in Australia on February 20, 1972. The first complete album, including the debut songs, was well received and became a hot topic among many fans, but this is a sequel to the Aussie series. As can be seen in the jacket photo, the Melbourne performance was a relaxed performance in front of a packed audience that filled the large venue, coupled with the warm weather. Robert is said to have been somewhat ill in Australia, but in Melbourne he showed signs of recovery, and the performance was safe but powerful enough. First of all, in terms of sound quality, this work makes full use of the four existing sources from the Melbourne performance, making it the longest and best composition. Strangely, all of the sound sources from this series of Australian tours were recorded quite close to the stage, and many of them were recorded under conditions that were not typical audience recordings, and this Melbourne performance is no exception. When there are multiple sources for the same performance, it is common to use the prominent sound quality as the main source and compensate for the others, but for this Melbourne performance, each of the four sources has high sound quality and is excellent enough to be the main source. The main source of this work is the so-called source 2, which has a clear high range. In particular, the first half has a wide range and a clear high-pitched part, and I think this source is a cut above the others. Furthermore, this is also common to the series of Australian tours, but in an attempt to record all the songs, there are many songs with cuts between them, with the Adelaide performance being the most notable example, and this source 2 also has a cut between songs, which was a major drawback of the already released version. This work has been edited so that it can be heard without gaps throughout the concert by supplementing it with another source without any gaps. In addition, source 4 is used for the part where the sound gets slightly worse in the latter half. In this way, it is worth noting that this work was created as the longest and best title of the Melbourne performance by selecting the good parts of multiple sources. In addition, the pitch disturbances common to old tapes have been perfectly adjusted, and there is no unnatural disturbance when changing sources. Until now, there were pros and cons in terms of sound quality and content, and it was necessary to own multiple titles, but if you have this work, you don't need anything else.
