Antique Victorian early 1890's Geo. C. Shreve & Co. San Francisco, sterling silver floral repousse pattern candy or nut dish. Would also make a very decorative trinket tray for the dresser or vanity. The dish measures 5 3/4" diameter across the top to the outer edges and weighs 78.2 grams. It deepens slightly towards the center. The dish/tray is in very good condition with no dents and virtually almost no signs of use or wear. No monograms. Stamped Geo. C. Shreve & Co. sterling, San Francisco along with a bee maker's mark that was not used after 1894. Please enlarge all pics for best details.
