Welcome!
This is a fun, small Dugway geode with the start of a chamber. During its formation, it attempted to be a trio of fused geodes, but despite itsbest efforts, it never got quite that far. The back side really illustrates where this was going when its formation process ended. The face clearly shows the central, main geode. One of the smaller two even began pushing  out a druzy quartz lined chamber. The polished face shows straight, darker matrix sweeping across. In another time these would have been concentric circles forming around the chamber. As a fun and unusual oddity, this geode holds its ground. Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them. An acrylic stand is included for displaying this crystal.
