Manufactured by Musashi, and the sword is from their Musha series. Blade is traditionally hand forged (6-stage process) and heat tempered 1045 carbon steel.  This is not a display piece but a fully functional sword that can be used for cutting exercises.  Wood display stand is included.

Tang: Full tang.  Tang length is about 2/3 the length of the handle

Tsuka (handle): Plastic

Tsuba (guard): Metal alloy

Fittings: One-piece brass habaki and copper spacers

Saya (scabbard): Hardwood.  Ring at the throat to prevent cracking
