When it looked as if time had expired with the score tied at 28, an official review added :01 second to the clock...just enough time for Alabama to attempt their 4th field goal of the game - (the other 3 attempts failed hence the title "Kick Bama Kick"). The kick was short and Chris Davis fielded the ball 9 yards deep in the end zone. He then ran the entire length of the field to score and give the Auburn Tigers a 34 - 28 win over the #1 ranked and unbeaten Crimson Tide, and ultimately a spot in the National Championship game.
